Olsson Parts supplies spare parts and equipment worldwide

With keywords such as knowledge, quality and experience, Olsson Parts has been supplying spare parts for construction machinery and tractors for almost seven decades. “We are proud of this, just as we are proud of our easy-to-use website, www.olssonparts.com, where customers can quickly see which parts are suitable for their particular machine,” says Håkan Ekstrand, CEO.

The family business, which was founded in 1957, now employs more than a hundred people. The head office is located on the island of Orust on the West Coast of Sweden.
− After almost seven decades, we are still a family business, with the aim of offering spare parts in a simple manner. Customers initially placed orders by mail order, and we started developing e-commerce in the latter part of the 1990s.
Today, Olsson Parts is a major player in the Nordic region. The company handles close to 35,000 different parts for more than 5,000 different construction and tractor models.
− The range is constantly evolving and, in addition to spare parts, we also have a growing range of equipment such as power transmission, hydraulics and various accessories, says Håkan Ekstrand.

Everything in stock
Most of the company’s customers are in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany, although deliveries are sent to virtually the whole world.
− We are unique in that, with very few exceptions, we have everything in stock. This allows us to handle orders and customer requests very quickly. If a Swedish customer places their order before 4 pm, they can have their parts the next day, depending on the chosen delivery method. The corresponding time for Germany, for example, is 2 pm, although there the delivery may take an extra day.

Multilingual telephone support
Even though olssonparts.com is considered one of the easiest e-commerce sites for heavy vehicles, you may sometimes need to talk to a real person. That’s why Olsson Parts offers telephone and customer support in several languages in addition to Swedish.
− Language barriers can lead to misunderstandings and frustration. By offering support in Danish, Finnish, English and German, we ensure clear communication and get more satisfied customers into the bargain, says Håkan Ekstrand, who also considers that Olsson Parts is operating in an industry of the future:
− Infrastructure, agriculture and sustainability are key in our sector. It’s a matter of putting food on the table while at the same time adopting a strategic approach to sustainability. And with our modern facility, combining high capacity and well-developed warehouse logistics, we have every opportunity to achieve our ambitious goals.
